Hey there followers, please sign this here petition to demand that Facebook remove pages that promote sexual violence! Maybe you’ve already seen it around, but share it with your friends and so on.
Thank you for your time!
As I keep saying: usually it’s…
Look, I AM one of the people looking at memes. I’ve got a lot friends looking at memes. If we’d try to rape anyone, they’d castrate us on the spot. The people looking at these memes, comment these type of comments, are ugly, shy unpopular people like me and my friends. They pretend to be though online, because the internet is the only place where they can’t be mocked too directly. Most of the photos used in the memes ate from porn, because that’s their second favourite thing to look at online. All the examples I’ve seen so far are pretty much like this. I haven’t seen ONE that’s actually saying “hey, let’s go raping”. Except for one, and that one should actually be a “malicious advice mallard” meme.I’m not trying to be rude, but you’re missing the point. It’s not just ugly, shy, unpopular people, simply because you said your friends fit into those categories and you know your friends look at these. People that find these entertaining and don’t see a problem with them are all one thing - ignorant. They don’t understand the harm they do by making light of such serious issues like rape and sexual violence. Joking about such issues makes them seem less important. Maybe you don’t understand because you haven’t been victim of these sort of things, but I don’t know what you have or haven’t been victim of. Hopefully as you mature you will realise that these issues are nothing to joke about, regardless of whether everyone else seems to find them funny or not.
Look, anything can be joked about somewhere, often times on the internet. Just today, I say multiple Hitler jokes, including one in which he had sex with Stalin. And it’s a good thing. It means people can cope with bad things, and have a good laugh about them. And of course, there will always be those who take jokes and humour too serious, and, in this case, rape. If they don’t see it on the internet, the free speaking place of the world, they’ll hear similar jokes on the street or in bars or where ever. Censoring humour isn’t gonna help, education is. Why do you think rape rates here in western Europe are lower?
You seem to still be missing the point. This isn’t about stopping freedom of speech. The point of the petition is to get rid of pages that promote sexual violence, which is completely understandable when it is in violation of Facebook’s own policies. I am not taking these jokes ‘too serious’, I am taking them as they are - distasteful, disgusting and completely inappropriate. Are you sure you’re not the one taking them too lightly? What’s funny about them? Can you describe to me what someone would find funny about “Riding your Girlfriend softly, Cause you dont want to wake her up” or “Kicking Sluts in the Vagina”? I can’t stress enough how rape is ACTUALLY A SERIOUS ISSUE. I think you need to come to terms with it instead of seeing it as something people like to laugh at. That joke is not making fun of how Hitler murdered people, it is making fun of HIM. Understandably, people make fun of bad people to cope with the things they did. But…I’m yet to see a joke making fun of a rapist. Do you see where I’m coming from yet? It’s always making fun of the victim, not the rapist. Anyway I’m done with this. Thanks for your time.

Thank you for your time!As I keep saying: usually it’s just a bunch of people with dark humour. Just stay away from them if you don’t like their jokes. The rapists aren’t the guys looking at these weird memes, so why bother?
I fail to see how sexual violence like raping a woman whilst she sleeps is humorous. Maybe that’s just me? How do you know who’s looking at these memes? How do you know who’s a rapist? You don’t. This is the issue. Believe it or not, there are thousands of people on Facebook, young and old, that will read some of these, like them, think they’re funny, and some may even be stupid enough to think that these things are okay to do. I have dark humour, I have all kinds of humour, but these things literally, as it says, PROMOTE violence. Have you really never gone onto one of these kind of pages, or photos, and seen someone, or even the ENTIRE comment section filled with people saying ‘Haha yeah fuckin bitch she deserves it’? Because I see that at all the time, and that’s NOT humour. That’s someone seriously thinking that that’s an okay thing to do. I don’t mean to rant but you never know who’s reading them, and by the gods, I shudder to think that sexual violence like raping a man or a woman is considered humorous.
